Variety Show Winner is Nicholas Czerwinski, 11; Second place, Emilee Flood, 11, and third-place winner Carlee Gilpin, 10.  Dance Solo Winner is Alexia Hughes, 10, of Batesville. Dance Group Winners are Daesha Childress, 12, Cedrick Hall, 11, Christina Paschal, 12 and Terran Harper, 12, all of Batesville

The Fair kicked off this week with a family fun night which included games for the kids and a dog show for the entire family.  Tuesday nights attendance was 3541, an increase of 800 over last year.  Although it is hot, it’s cool in the Commercial Building with the new air conditioning, so a little stroll though the displays will cool you off.  Come on out and enjoy the fair.
