Veteran’s Appreciation Day
The Third Annual Veteran’s Appreciation Day will be held again this year. We are excited that we can show, in a small way, the appreciation that we have for the dedication and sacrifice our veterans have made toward securing our freedom and ensuring the American way of life. This event will happen Saturday, July 23. The ceremony will start at 9:00am, with events planned until 1:00 pm. Veterans please come early, registration starts at 8:00 and we would like to be finished with the registration by 8:50. We ask that all Veterans please come to this event and we will publically recognize you and your service.
The Arkansas Fallen Heroes traveling memorial, which is a 100′ x 100′ area flag memorial will be displayed. This memorial is to the memory of the men and women of Arkansas who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. This memorial will eventually be a permanent display. There will be a USO Show following the ceremonies. Veterans, please bring your family and friends, come out and be with us for this event and let us express our appreciation for all that you have done.Veteran’s Appreciation Day in 2010 was a great turnout and we are looking forward to a fulfilling and reflective day this year.Click here for Veteran’s Day Agenda
